Day/Date change... We are starting out quilting group back up. We will be meeting the second Monday of every month. It will at my church in the Fellowship hall. All are more then welcome to come. We meet as a group to work on our own individual projects and help each other if we need it. There are no dues/fees. Occasionally we have BOM's or some special thing we due (like baby quilts for Carenet) but not too often. We will probably be working on a stained glass project in the near future so if you are interested in fabric stained glass this might be for you. My newest pattern Gone Vertical is a fun and quick quilt to put togegther. Use charm squares for the main part of the block or fussy cut a fabulous fabric , then use it again in the sashing and border. The blocks are put together with a half-square triangle not a Y seam. If you need the quilt to be bigger then make the sashing and/or the border bigger or make extra rows. The quilt can be made with or without a first border. 62" x 78-1/2" or 58" x 74-1/2" There are two samples ast the shop. One in Batiks (I made that one) and one with florals (my sister pieced that one). They both look great.

This is an introduction to applique class. I will show you four different types of applique and two different stitches while making a heart wall hanging. If you have never appliqued before, this is the class you should take to pick the proper method for the specific applique project you would like to make. $25.00

Cute little wallet that can be made in an hour. It has three pockets inside. Great for use as a gift card holder or to use for all of those quilt shop punch cards we have. Use velcro or a snap for hte closure. $15.00

This is a fun quilt to make because it is made with NO PINS. Yeah. This is a really simple technique. If the fabric is at least 42" wide you will be able to get two quilts. One quilt the 72" x 81" and one quilt 36" x 40-1/2". From the fabrics listed in the requirements you will get to make both quilts. $25.00

These Wonky Trees are a great foundation pieced wall hanging or valance. Make it as long as you would like or shorten it for a table topper. A tree that is "Wonky" is tilted and slightly crooked. They really do look neat. If you are new to foundation piecing then this is a great class to learn the method and then watch out there will be nothing to stop you. $25.00
